About Us
Welcome to the Explore & Develop OSHC Program. We aim to provide your child/ren with care of the highest possible standard within a safe, secure and stimulating environment.
Explore & Develop has recognised the need and is committed to providing an out of school hours care program for the families within the school community of Narraweena Public School and its neighbouring school St John’s Narraweena.
Explore & Develop has developed a high quality program staffed by committed professionals and this program operates to allow parents to pursue employment and/or training. The safety, welfare and well being of all children attending the program are of highest priority to Explore & Develop at all times.
Our staff respects the identity of each individual and their families. Explore & Develop OSHC staff will endeavour to plan and co-ordinate activities, which are inclusive to all children and consideration regarding children’s ethnicity, gender, culture and disabilities, will be taken into account.
Before School Care:
The Before School Care Service operates from 7.00am to 8.45am each weekday during school terms. Breakfast is supplied before 8:00am
After School Care:
The After School Care Service operates 3.00pm to 6.30pm each weekday during school terms.
A nutritious snack is provided after school as part of the service. The service also provides an extensive program of creative and recreational experiences for the children.
Vacation Care Program:
The Vacation Care Service operates 7.00am to 6.30pm during the term break for 10 weeks of the year closing for 2 week over the December/January period. (Inclusive of ‘pupil free days’ that are relative to Narraweena Public School and are attached to school holidays.) Morning Tea, Lunch & Afternoon Tea is supplied by the centre.
